The best selling Square Tennis Net Post (Pair). The posts include a brass winder mechanism and winder handle already attached. Manufactured from 76mm squre x 3mm heavy duty steel and aluminium top caps and steel lugs. One post has the winder mechanism attached to it. The other has a welded hook for the loop of the tension wire to attach to.
There are two options available. Buying a square tennis net post with sockets or without. This will depend on whether you already have existing sockets from your previous tennis posts.
With Ground Sockets
The square net posts drop 20cm into 90mm steel sockets which are 36cm deep in total. The sockets themselves are sold with a steel or plastic socket cap. The sockets and the posts are both finished in a green coat.
Without Ground Sockets
Of course if you already have ground sockets you are able to purchase posts without the sockets. This is a cheaper option and more often the case.
In each scenario the posts have lacing bars that the net itself can attach to to ensure a seamless and tidy finish.
These posts have been used at the Athens and Beijing Olympics and the US Open Grand Slam. Needless to say these posts are a highly respected piece of tennis equipment.
Of course there are two types of tennis post, square and round. The above is in reference to the square posts however it can be the case you have round sockets and therefore require round posts. If you do require the latter then please select the round posts product on our website and we have described this in great depth.
If you have any questions on whether you need sockets or not with your posts or if you need square or round posts please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our friendly staff..
