A reliable choice made by top tennis clubs across the country. Made from a hard wood that will last a very long time. Beware of cheaper wooden umpires, these will almost certainly be made from a soft wood that will not last nearly as long.

The Wimbledon colour green is used for that extra finish. The steps are anti-slip, perfect for wet or damp conditions, which in the UK is quite frequently. The chair comes with an arm rest and a desk for when you are seated in the chair and keeping score of the match. Once in the chair you have a great vantage point at 6 feet high above the ground. The width obviously vary’s if the chair is closed and packed away or open and in use. When packed away it has a width of 21″. When being used it is 4 feet and 7 inches wide.

It has a weight of 27kg so we would recommend two or more people moving it when necessary. This extra weight is perfect for sturdiness as it will never blow over in high winds or band wind conditions. It does however create problems if it needs to be moved.

To ensure the Classic Wooden Umpire last a very long time we recommend keeping indoors when not in use. We are aware that due to its size this may not be plausible. The wood has been treated to ensure that it can last in any weather conditions throughout the year.
