Tretorn Orange/Yellow Mini Tennis Balls

Tretorn Orange/Yellow Mini Tennis Balls

Each ball in the Tretorn Academy Range, including the Academy Orange has been ITF approved to the highest standards and quality of play. Designed specially to perform consistently for young children learning the game of tennis and progress their technique. The Tretorn Academy Orange junior tennis balls are regarded as one of the highest quality brands for mini-tennis balls. Suitable for children 8-10 at their developing stages of tennis.

The Tretorn Orange/Yellow Mini Tennis Balls are 40% lighter than a standard tennis ball and 50% slower. This allows the child playing an extra amount of time to adjust their footwork, bring their racket back and prepare for the shot. The extra time means the child isn’t rushed to play their shot, allowing them to learn and develop at their own pace. The fact the orange ball is also 40% lighter means it doesn’t hurt the child’s arm when playing as they are less developed than an adult.

The Tretorn Orange/Yellow Mini Tennis Balls have a specialized rubber core which means they keep a very consistent bounce over a very long period of time. This is why they are thought of so highly as junior tennis balls. It is a specialized ball for stage 2 development.

The orange colour contrasted against the yellow (2 tone) is also great for identifying your balls on court, whether you are a coach playing with a large group or just individually. Furthermore the felt used is very resistant against all weather conditions, rain, wind or snow the Tretorn Academy balls continue to bounce well and have a good ‘feel’ when hit.
