High Quality cream centre band with brass eyelets to fold over a tennis net. Cotton material.
A very popular choice and an essential component part of any tennis net. The Tournament Centre Net Band is a cream cotton and is used to manage the height of a tennis net. There are two options of Centre Net bands. One is made from a white nylon and the other is made from a cream coloured cotton. The latter is shown on this product page and is the slightly more expensive option.
Not sure how to correctly apply the Tournament Centre Band? Remove the old damaged centre net band from the tennis net and detach from the swivel adjuster. Drape the new centre net band over the net so it sits either sides of the tennis net. Make sure both ends are even to each other on either side and reattach the swivel adjuster to centre net band. Once attached you need to hook the swivel adjuster into the ground anchor on the tennis court itself (if there is one) or onto the net base weight. If your court installer didn’t insert a ground anchor into the tennis court you will need to purchase a net base weight if you don’t already have one. They are 5kg and green and we will sell them here at Max Sports!
Once the Tournament Centre Band is attached securely to the swivel adjuster which is in turn attached to the ground anchor/net base weight you then need to ensure the tennis net is the correct height. Move from the centre of the net (where the tournament band is sitting) to the end of the net at the end the winder is attached to the net post. From here you need to turn the winder handle clockwise to tighten the tennis net to achieve the exact height you want. If the centre net base is restricting the net from increasing in height you will need to see if it is sitting correctly of try lengthening the swivel adjuster itself by twisting the barrel.
Looks nice against my new tennis net! Good price too
